Jessi Gordon, Miss Cody Stampede Princess 2013

Jessica Louann Gordon, or Jessi Lou to those who know her best, is a junior at

Cody High School, where she currently holds a 3.9 GPA and is involved in many

extracurricular activities.  You will often find Jess busy at school pursing various

interests whether it’s Future Farmers of America, Teen Leadership Coalition, Cody

Can or the new Peer Advocacy Program.  As for sports, tennis and basketball

keep her “busting her tail” after school.

When she’s not riding her horse in the evenings, you will often catch Jessi helping her little sis to work on some basketball moves or helping with her pony!!  In the fall, you won’t find Jessi home much at all.

She is an avid hunter and loves to hunt with her family.  Together they spend countless days in the hills on horses, packing in and hunting elk and deer all season long.  She has been the most successful hunter in the family for the past four years, never missing her bull!!!

When she is home, Jessi attends Cody Bible Church with her family and is always thankful for the blessings God has given her.  Jessi has plans to graduate high school with honors and attend college to pursue a career. Although she is undecided on a major as of yet, she is currently considering an agriculture business degree or a wildlife biology major in

order to pursue a forest ranger or land management position.
